The CLS department recently purchased 6 new computers for student use. The old computers were castoffs from faculty offices and had become unserviceable.

Beach party

On Sabbath, June 28th the CLS Department hosted a picnic on the beach party for this summers CLS students. The weather started out beautiful but as is typical for Michigan - wait 5 minutes and it will change.

Very strong winds came up and blowing sand mixed with potatoe salad just didn't taste too good. The picnic was then moved to Karen and Kevin's home in Berrien and a great time was had by all.

Thanks Karen & Kevin for opening your home for the large group.

Al on vacation

Al and Fran spent a wonderful week in Wyoming. Got to see lots of wildlife such as this grizzly bear in Yellowstone.

Yellowstone Park was as beautiful as ever but the weather was very unsettled. One moment you were in a blizzard the next in beautiful sunny weather. One advantage - not many tourists!!

This is our new house in Cody, WY. Ya all come visit....

Becky Doering at clinicals

Becky Doering is doing her clinical rotation at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, NE. Al visited with her and took her and her mother out to dinner at Valentino's.

Becky had just started her Blood Bank rotation.

Spring has arrived at Andrews

The star magnolias are in full bloom along the side of the Science building.

The daffodils are also blooming around the Marie Roos memorial tree.
It is nice to have the flowers back after a long snowy winter.

Students at SBMF

Mrs. Reiner visited the students who are doing their clinical rotations at South Bend Medical Foundation in South Bend, IN. (l-r) Teresa Kendall, an Instructor at SBMF, Pearl Bekalo, Tonya Shipp, Smruti Damania, and Charmaigne Gallega

Pearl trying to figure out what those bugs are during her micro rotation.

Tonya is also in micro. Seems like those bugs are really getting a going over.

Smruti trying to decide what to do next. Micro is the rotation all the students are in at the present time.

Charmaigne is going to write a note to those little bugs and maybe they will send back an email telling her who they are.

Thanks Karen for the pictures.
